MY LEARNING · LESSON 1
Build an answer from your own academic interests and plans.
Use this question to explain your purpose for studying abroad. Begin with what you want to learn and why it matters to you. You do not need a dramatic story or a memorized speech.
Think about three connections:
“The education is good” does not explain your own choice. Ask yourself: which learning opportunity matters to me, and why?
These are thinking prompts, not a script. Use only details you know are true.
You may need to research your course first. It is fine to write “I still need to check” in your notes. The tutor can help you identify what is missing.
This lesson teaches clear communication. Completing it does not indicate visa eligibility or guarantee an outcome.
These study-purpose notes are optional before speaking. Your tutor also uses your saved student profile.
Get short explanations tailored to your profile: study purpose, school choice, funding, and future plans. Ask a question, practise if you want, or say “next” to move on.
Voice lessons last up to 8 minutes. Six voice starts per account each day (resets at midnight UTC); connection attempts count. Notes remain available.
Your conversation is for learning, with no readiness score. Save the points you want to keep in your notes below; the conversation itself is not saved.
Completion records your progress through this lesson, not an assessment of readiness. You can revisit it any time.
Mock interviews last up to 12 minutes. Six voice starts per account each day, shared with lessons (midnight UTC reset); connection attempts count.
The interviewer asks one question at a time and follows up based on the athlete's spoken answer.
Answer naturally after each question. Pause when you finish; the interviewer will respond automatically.
The transcript is sent to the evaluation model to create a readiness report.
Six report attempts per account each day, resetting at midnight UTC. Failed attempts count. Repeating a completed transcript reopens its saved report.
